Renew Day Spa + Happy Medium

I’m about to craft the most relaxing Chinatown day for you.

You’re going to start with a massage at Renew Day Spa. This place is no frills, but it’s clean, efficient, inexpensive, and offers a great massage. I got over an hour for under $75 – can’t beat that.

After that, I could list off a whole bunch of great lunch spots, but my current recommendation is Fu Zhou Wei Zhong.

Finally, you’ll spend an hour or two at Happy Medium, a craft café. What’s an art cafe? Well you walk in (I recommend making a rezzy just like any hot cafe) and choose a craft. You can make jewelry, pinch pots, or a collage. There are also watercolor, pastel, and bracelet making experiences. And there’s drinks. Choose from a wide range of beverages – there are non-alc, alcoholic, and THC-infused options available. I grabbed a canned cold brew and ordered some air dried clay. And then I just enjoyed a totally zen hour and a half. I made three small dishes that I painted at home a couple weeks later. I now use them to hold jewelry and my many travel perfume testers.

On your way home, you should stop in a tea shop so you can continue the relaxing at home over a cup of steaming tea. Or, if it’s nice out, take the long way back, leisurely strolling whole eating some ice cream at Chinatown Ice Cream Factory.
